Welcome to LoomWriter.IO ("we", "our", or "us"). LoomWriter.IO is a mental journaling mobile application that helps users write daily journal entries and view insights and metrics based on their content. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights in relation to that information.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information when you use the App:

2. How We Use Your Information

3. Third-Party Services and Data Sharing

We use third-party services to provide core app functionality. These services may collect or process limited data required for their operation. We do not sell or rent your personal information.

Service Purpose Data Handling
Google AdMob Display banner advertisements in the free plan Google's privacy policies apply to ad data
Google Play Billing / Apple Pay Process in-app purchases and subscriptions Payments handled by Google/Apple; payment provider policies apply
Expo (React Native) App runtime, device identifiers used for session management Expo runtime and tooling may collect diagnostic data per their policies

4. Advertising & Personalized Ads

We display banner ads through Google AdMob in the free version of the App. Ad networks may collect non-personal information (such as device identifiers and ad interaction data) to serve and measure ads. We do not have direct visibility into all of the data Google collects for ad delivery — please consult Google's advertising and privacy documentation for details.

5. Payments & Billing

All subscription payments are processed through Google Play Billing (Android) or Apple Pay / App Store (iOS). When you subscribe, the payment provider collects and stores your payment details. LoomWriter.IO receives confirmation of the purchase (receipt / subscription status) but does not store full credit card details.

6. Account Deletion & Data Retention

Users must create an account to use LoomWriter.IO. You can delete your account at any time from within the App. Deleting your account will permanently remove your account and associated journal entries from our systems, subject to any legal or financial recordkeeping obligations (for example, basic purchase records may be retained for accounting purposes).

7. Children

The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us to request removal.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect data (encryption in transit, secure authentication). However, no internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure — absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to request a copy of your data in a portable format. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. We will post the updated policy on this page and, where appropriate, notify you via the App. The "Effective Date" above indicates when this version became active.
